according to Variety IndiaJohar will attend the May 4 event along with Met Gala red carpet regular Natasha Poonawalla and designer Manish Malhotra. She is also expected to wear a Malhotra-designed outfit for the occasion.

Johar, who is known for his bold sartorial choices, has often engaged with the Met Gala from afar – sharing opinions on celebrity looks and celebrating Indian representation on the global stage.
Expect to see a mix of global and Indian names on the red carpet at the annual fundraiser to be held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Apart from them, many Indian celebrities are expected to attend this year, including Manish Malhotra, Isha Ambani and Natasha Poonawalla.
