The makers of Kannappa have announced that the first look of Prabhas will be released on 3 February. To increase the anticipation, he shared a pre-look poster of Prabhas, who plays an extended cameo in the upcoming devotional drama Manchu Vishnu.

The makers shared the poster on X. “Here’s a glimpse of darling-rebel star ‘Prabhas’ in #Kannaappa! Experience the beginning of an epic journey, and don’t miss the full reveal on February 3rd. Stay tuned for more updates! (sic),” read the caption. Prabhas’ intense gaze is visible in the poster, in which he is holding a trident.

After seeing a similar glimpse of Prabhas in the Kannappa teaser, fans are eagerly waiting for the full reveal. If reports are to be believed, Prabhas will play the role of Lord Shiva in the Telugu version of the film. Additionally, it is speculated that Prabhas’ character will explore a unique narrative, with Akshay Kumar portraying the original form of Shiva, which will add to the intrigue surrounding his role.

On January 20, the makers also released the first look of Akshay Kumar as Shiva. Akshay is seen in a white dhoti, trident and damru in his hand and a blue neck, which symbolizes the mythological story of Shiva drinking poison.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa is based on the story of Kannappa, one of the most devoted followers of Lord Shiva. The film stars Vishnu Manchu in the lead role and features other extended cameos from Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal and Kajal Aggarwal.
