The late Kannada superstar Punith Rajkumar’s prestigious film Appu is returning to theaters a day before the actor’s birthday. The film is ready for a very good start at the box office.

Written and directed by Puri Jagannadh, Appu is one of Puneth Rajkumar’s prestigious films. The film has recorded a historical advance booking, indicating a solid start. According to reports, the film emerged as the highest east-book Kannada film of the year.

For The Anward, the 2000 released film was a blockbuster venture at the box office. It strengthened Punith as one of the leading names in the Kannada film industry. The actor acted in about 35 films in his career before his untimely demise in 2021.
Appu continues in theaters on March 14, celebrating the 50th birth anniversary of the late superstar.
The film follows Appu, which is from a family background of low-medium class. After taking a fight in college, he injures himself and is saved by Suchitra, who donates blood to save her. Both of them eventually fall in love.
