78Wan The version of the Cannes Film Festival will be from 13 to 24 May 2025. While many Bollywood Bigis have been designed to feel their presence on the global stage, a handful of Indian films will also be premiered in this program.
1. Homebound
Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatar Starrer Homebound, Cannes Film Festival are at 2025. Karan Johar, the second feature film of Neeraj Gaywan has been banked. Ace Hollywood filmmaker, Martin Scorste also appeared in the film as an executive producer. The film has been selected in the United Nations’ fixed relationship section.
Sharing Happy News, Kapoor took him to his Instagram and said, “An honor beyond an honor. Thank you, @martinscorsesesesesesese_, to guide homebound with the grace and insight of a true guru. To guide homebound. Your support means the world for us.”
2. Aranir Din Ratri
Next, we have an Indian classic, Aranir Deen Ratri, who has recently been restored. In an official social media post, the film Heritage Foundation revealed that the world premiere of the newly restored Satyajit Ray will be in the World Premier Cannes Film Festival 2025. Veteran Bollywood Star, Sharmila Tagore, who portrayed the lead role in the 1970 film, will participate in the incident.
Along with him, the film’s premiere will be presented by Wes Anderson, actress Simi Gerewal, Margaret Bode, Executive Director of Film Foundation, Family of Producer Purnima Dutta and Peter Baker and Fumiko Makgi.
3. Tanvi great
Anupam Kher’s upcoming direction venture, Tanvi: The Great, prestigious Canni Film Festival is ready for his world premiere in March Du Film (Cannes Film Bazaar) of 2025.
Announcing on Instagram, the manufacturers expressed, “World Premier! Directed by Global Actor @Enucer direction Tanvi Tanvi The Great to the Great to Shine on the World Stage!
4. A doll made of clay
Kolkata’s Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI) is led by a doll made from clay made by students from the 78th Festival de Kan 2025. The short film has been selected for the prestigious La Cinef section. The film set in India, written and directed by Cocobe Gabrevaria Tesfe, is an Ethiopian student at SRFTI, and is produced by Sahil Manoj Ingle. Uma Kumari is the executive producer of the film.
