Actor Kajol recently influenced Ajay Devgan’s production house and Yash Raj Films during a confrontation between ‘Son of Sardar’ (2012). He recalled his dilemma when someone was close to both Ajay and Aditya Chopra.

Kajol, in an interview Today IndiaSister channel LallantopWhen asked how he dealt with Ajay-IRF dispute. He said, “quarrels are always difficult, especially when they remain unresolved for some time. At that time when you have such a situation, both parties were standing for themselves.”

‘Ma’ actor further said, “As someone who was connected to both sides, I felt helpless. You have to wait for the time to pass so that the feelings are reduced. So that things can recover again.”

“Change is change, it is neither good nor bad. It is written somewhere that change is eternal. It is only one thing that is stable,” he said.

The controversy began when Devgan Films, formerly known as Ajay Devgan Fafilms (ADF), filed a complaint with the India’s Competition Commission (CCI), alleging that YRF used its main position in the market to get maximum screen for ‘Jab Taca Hai Jaan’. Ajay’s production house mentioned that as a result, ‘Son of Sardar’ did not get enough screen.

Kajol was recently seen in Vishal Furia’s ‘Maa’. The legendary-Horr was co-produced by Ajay Devgan and Jyoti Deshpande. Today IndiaIn his review of ‘Ma’, it was written, “The gesture to credits the artists and crew with the names of his mothers was a touching tribute. And the use of ‘Hamna Mere’ of Zubin Nautiyal was also quite massestroke to underline the mother-daughter bond. The punishment not only hidden his relationship, but also became a subject matter.”

The film was released on 27 June.

The trailer of Kajol’s upcoming action-thriller ‘Sergemen’ was recently released. The film Geohotstar also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan. It will be available for streaming from 25 July.
