The announcement of Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’s re-release in theaters has created a wave of excitement and nostalgia. Actor Abhishek Sharma, who was just 10 years old at the time, played the role of Hrithik Roshan’s younger brother in the film directed by Rakesh Roshan. He has now shared one of his heartbreaking moments, remembering how he felt when Roshan’s character died, saying, “I was very upset that my brother died. It’s done.”

In a conversation with India Today, Abhishek Sharma revealed that he was deeply saddened when his character Rohit died in the film, admitting that he was very upset by the loss. However, he found solace in seeing Hrithik Roshan on the set every day.

They recalled the memorable scene where they caressed each other’s faces, which fans still remember. Although he has not been in touch with Hrithik or Rakesh Roshan recently, he has expressed his desire to reunite with them in the future.

Speaking about Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek praised his humility and dedication. He shared how he would spend his breaks listening to songs, practicing his lines, practicing dance steps or working on his action sequences. Abhishek said, “It is because of this dedication that he is at this position today.”

He also remembered Hrithik’s kindness and recalled how the War 2 actor used to drink strawberry-flavoured protein shake and give him sips. Later, Hrithik ordered the same drink in a smaller bottle from his team. Abhishek laughed because he remembered imitating Hrithik’s habit of shaking his sipper before drinking, which made Hrithik laugh.

Abhishek told that being the youngest on the set, he used to have a lot of fun and everyone used to pamper him. He also mentioned that although Rakesh Roshan was strict, he had a kind and supportive approach which helped him perform better. Kaho Na Pyaar Hai will be re-released in theaters on January 10, 2025.
