According to a report by Movies Singapore, the Censor Board of Singapore has revealed karasummary of. It said: “A Tamil film about a reformed thief who returns to crime to get back his mortgaged ancestral land and fulfill his father’s last wish.”
It is said that the runtime of the film is 2 hours and 39 minutes. However, this has not been officially confirmed by the makers yet.

Kaara is an upcoming action thriller set in Ramanathapuram in 1991. The film is the story of a man named Karasami, which is based on the backdrop of the Gulf War between America and Iraq. It also explores the bombing of a fuel depot and how it disrupted normal life during that period.

After Kaara, Dhanush will work on a spy action drama tentatively titled D55. Directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, the film will be co-produced by the actor himself under the banner of Wunderbar Films.
Along with Mammootty in a pivotal role, the film will also star Sreeleela and Sai Pallavi in co-lead roles. Additionally, Sai Abhyankar will handle the music compositions.
