Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has won his first National Film Award for Best Actor for his powerful performance in the 2023 blockbuster ‘Jawan’. The actor shared prestigious honors with Vikrant Massey, which was recognized for his role in ’12th Failure’. As soon as the news broke, fans and celebrities put equally in congratulatory messages. Shah Rukh’s long-time friend and co-star Juhi Chawla also celebrated his victory.

‘Jawan’, directed by Atley, starred with SRK along with Deepika Padukone, Nayantara and Vijay Sethupathi and grossed over Rs 1,100 crore worldwide. The film took action with topics such as corruption, farmer suicides and government’s apathy. The film, in which he played a dual role, not only conquered the box office, but also addressed to suppress social issues.
After a massive return with ‘Pathan’ in 2023 after a four -year gap, Shah Rukh is looking forward to pace with his next film ‘King’, an action thriller directed by Siddharth Anand.
