RRR The actor is ready to collaborate with Jr NTR Ala Vaikunthapurmulu Director Trivikram Srinivas for an ambitious new mythological drama, ending months of speculation around the project. Backed by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s NTR Arts and S Radha Krishna’s Harika and Haseen Creations, the yet-to-be-titled film promises to be made on a grand scale.

Jr NTR shared the announcement poster on social media with the caption, “Son of Shiva. Pride of Parvati. Eternal commander. And, once again with Trivikram.” The poster depicts a war-torn landscape surrounded by flames, with a raised trident at the centre. In particular, the central shaft of the trident resembles a DNA strand.

The visual description, along with the caption, confirms speculations that the film is based on Lord Muruga, also known as Karthikeya. However, the makers are yet to officially confirm the story or mythological inspiration behind the project. He announced the film with the caption, “Born in the North. Forged in the Heartland. Worshiped in the South. Now… A story that belongs to the universe.”

The film is expected to release on a large scale and marks Jr NTR’s second collaboration with Trivikram Srinivas. Arvind Sametha Veera Raghav. This project will have music by Anirudh Ravichander. Although the makers are keeping more details under wraps, the announcement has already created a lot of excitement among fans, with many eager to see the pair reunite in what is being billed as an epic mythological spectacle.

Scheduled for release in June 2027, the teaser introduced the actor as an assassin named Luger and generated significant buzz among fans. The Telugu film also stars Biju Menon, Rukmini Vasanth, Khushboo Sundar and Guru Somasundaram.
