According to El Diario Vasco, Depp, playing Jack Sparrow, has already visited children’s wards in hospitals around the world, including in Vancouver, Paris, London, Brisbane, Australia and several US cities.

Depp discussed at a press conference on September 24 how he connected with the film’s subject, Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani.

At a festival press conference, Depp said, “Everyone has a unique story to tell. Yes, I’ve really experienced some different things over the years. But I’m okay, you know, though. The end. I’m sure many of us have experienced many things. Perhaps your experience was not the same, that is, it did not make it to the telecast.”
