Joe Alwyn and Taylor Swift dated for a long time before separating in 2023. While Taylor is happily in a relationship with Travis Kelce, Alvin is also dating and happy.
In between Eras Tour concerts, the pop star released her studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, which Swift fans believed was about the actor, and hence talks of the two getting in touch again. It has started. However, clarifying the situation on the conversation, Alvin told The Gordian that he has moved on and urges others to do the same.
While sitting for an interview with the media portal, the English actor revealed that he believes his relationship with the musician will take down his career. Alvin explained, “We’re talking about something that happened a while ago in my life. So it is for other people. that’s what I feel.”
He added, “I’ve just tried to focus on controlling what I can control.” The Brutalist star shared that he has also prioritized his work, family and friends. He revealed that after his 2016 appearance on Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, his life has changed.
The actor elaborated, “And, right from the beginning, tried to focus on the things that are meaningful to me: friends, family, work, of course.” He continued, “Beyond all the noise, I think I did what a lot of people do who find themselves in the public eye, which is just try and ignore it.”

Meanwhile, opening up about the way he will live his life in 2025, Joe shared that he is already doing well and feels optimistic about the upcoming opportunities. “No, I feel great; I feel lucky to be in a good place,” the actor said during a conversation with the news portal.
As far as her relationship with the Bad Blood singer, Alwyn and Swift met each other soon after the actor starred in the 2016 film. The two immediately started talking and felt a connection. They dated for seven years before calling it quits in April 2023.
