According to a source from People, Jennifer Lopez is “very upset and disappointed” with Ben Affleck during their divorce because it “has deeply upset her.” The insider added that the Atlas star is uncomfortable living in the massive Beverly Hills mansion the couple bought in 2023 and plan to make their happy marital home.
The source said that both of them have bought this house for the whole family and it is quite big for them. The source further said that this house is filled with a lot of memories.
Bennifer listed the lavish 38,000-square-foot residence with 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms on the market in June, which was about two months before Lopez filed divorce papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court and requested an end to their marriage.

The two spent much of the summer on separate coasts before Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from Affleck, 52, on their second wedding anniversary in Georgia on Aug. 20. Lopez remained in New York after attending the Met Gala, while Affleck stayed in Los Angeles to film The Accountant 2, a sequel to his 2016 action thriller.
The actor not accompanying his wife to the 2024 Met soiree in May was what first sparked split rumors between the couple.
Over the summer, Lopez and Affleck missed out on celebrating several important occasions together, including the July 4th holiday, their wedding anniversary in Las Vegas and his 55th birthday. Despite Affleck’s absence from his Bridgerton-themed birthday party in New York in July, Lopez visited the Oscar winner at his rented home in Brentwood, California, on Aug. 15 to wish him a happy 52nd birthday.
A source told People earlier this week that Lopez is “doing the best she can” after filing for divorce, which she apparently “didn’t want.” The Love Don’t Cost a Thing singer reportedly wanted to figure things out.
Affleck was spotted grabbing dinner at L.A. restaurant Toscana with his friend Matt Damon and Damon’s wife, Luciana, on Sunday, August 25. A source told the publication that the Argo star is “doing well and is very focused” following his split from Lopez.
For those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their failed early 2000s romance in 2021 after Lopez broke up with Alex Rodriguez. The two eloped in Las Vegas to get married in July 2021 and then celebrated their union in front of friends and family in Georgia the following month.
