JEE Mains preparation test now available on Google Gemini AI, here’s how you can give it
Are you preparing for JEE Main and need more practice without paying for any other test series? Google has added free, full-length JEE Main mock tests to Gemini AI, allowing students to practice, get instant feedback, and revise weak areas directly within the app or website.

Are you planning to appear for JEE Main this year and looking for additional practice material? Google may have something useful for you. The company has announced a new feature on Gemini AI that lets students take full-length JEE Main practice tests for free directly within the Gemini platform. This new feature was announced during the India AI Summit 2026 and is aimed at students in India preparing for one of the most competitive entrance exams in the country.
According to Google, the JEE testing feature aims to make standardized test preparation more accessible by offering practice tests with built-in feedback, especially for students who do not rely on paid coaching or commercial test series.
How does Google’s JEE Main test feature work on Gemini?
The new JEE Main preparation test feature is built into Gemini AI and can be accessed through both the website and app. Google says it has partnered with Physicswala and Careers360 to ensure that the questions are in line with the JEE Main syllabus and exam pattern and similar to the actual exam format.
Google highlights that unlike traditional mock tests that end with a scorecard, Gemini will give students instant feedback after a test is completed. This includes highlighting strengths, identifying weak areas, and marking specific concepts that need further revision. Students can also ask Gemini to explain questions they answered incorrectly, making the process more interactive than a traditional test series.
How to take JEE Main mock test on Gemini
- If you are also preparing for JEE Advanced and JEE Mains, here is how you can use this new feature without downloading a separate app or signing up for a paid course.
- Open the Gemini app or access Gemini on the web.
- Type a prompt like “I want to give JEE Main mock test” or “I want to give JEE test”.
- Gemini will guide you through a full-length practice test.
- Once completed, you will receive immediate performance details.
After the test, students can also continue the conversation by asking Gemini to explain the answers step by step, clarify formulas, or help them revise specific chapters.
Notably, Google Gemini’s JEE testing feature supports multiple languages, which can make it especially useful for students who are more comfortable studying in their regional language rather than English.
More AI Tools for Students
Along with JEE mock tests, Google is also expanding its AI mode in Search for students. Using the Canvas tool, students can create customized study guides and quizzes by simply specifying what they want or uploading their class notes. After completing the quiz, students receive targeted feedback to help improve future performance
Meanwhile, Google has assured that new education-focused features are being introduced with an emphasis on responsible AI usage. Tools like SynthID, an invisible digital watermark, will allow users to check whether images or videos were created or edited using AI, keeping transparency into digital learning content.
