Initially, the makers took quick action and removed the clip that was circulating on X and other social media platforms. But, soon, the HD version of the film became available on pirated sites.
By Friday morning, the film’s Wikipedia page appeared to include a purported leaked URL. However, it could also be a virus or malicious link.

Meanwhile, a notorious piracy website known for releasing Tamil movies illegally has shared a note explaining why they will stay away from the release Jan Naygan On their platform.
The site TamilMV shared a note, which read, “We are aware of the ongoing political issues surrounding the actor. As per our ethics, we upload content only after the theatrical release of the film. The film will not be uploaded here before its official release.”
