Jamie Foxx is preparing to face charges after a Beverly Hills birthday incident in which he was injured. Fox was hit in the face by broken glass, causing bleeding and requiring stitches.
The actor suffered injuries following an altercation over a broken glass during his birthday dinner last December 13. According to reports, he was attacked at Mister Chow restaurant in Beverly Hills, California, while he was partying with his two daughters, Corinne and Anneliese. Ex-girlfriend Kristin Grannis.
Earlier, he took to social media to reflect on the incident and thank fans for supporting him. He wrote, “The devil is a lie. Can’t win here… Thank you to all who pray and check on me… When your light is shining bright… they try to bring darkness to you.” They do… but they don’t know you’re made for this… the lights are shining bright.”
A source close to the matter told TMZ that Fox is cooperating fully with the investigation and is prepared to take legal action against the perpetrators to ensure that nothing like this happens to anyone else.
The incident reportedly began when a man used a laser pointer to flash an offensive image at Foxx’s desk, during which a glass was thrown and hit Foxx in the face during the exchange. The Beverly Hills Police Department initially reported the presence of a deadly weapon. However, no one was arrested at the scene as officers did not find any weapons at the premises where the brawl took place.
While Jasper Dolphin, a stuntman, has not been officially named a suspect, police are reportedly interested in speaking to him in connection with the incident. According to sources, officials continue to investigate by conducting interviews, collecting evidence and finding more facts.
Jamie Foxx’s legal team has so far declined to comment, while Jasper Dolphin also has not responded to requests for statements.
