James Gun released the first poster of Supergirl: Wonder of Wand

James Gun has dropped the first poster of Supergirl’s first days after the release of Superman. The director teased the new film at the end of his latest release, where the audience saw a drunk supergirl in his solitude fort, trying to recover his dog, Crypto.

In a conversation with the screennareant, the filmmaker and DC co-head said that the supergirl is a completely mess.

As the first poster, the visual hero shows a drink while presenting a drink while presenting a drink next to the poster, “Look out.” The tagline for the film is completely opposite to Superman, which states, “Look.”

Sitting down for an interview with the media portal, Gunn revealed that the supergirl comes from a completely different background from Superman. James revealed, “He is a mess. He is a total mess.”

He further explained, “I mean, I think it is a completely different background from Superman. Very difficult background. It was a wonderful upbringing by these two parents who were loved and were very healthy. And her background was very different. And she was very different from her cousin.”

Somewhere else in the interview, the director also opened that Kara Zor-L’s backstory on Crypton would be included in the supergirl.

He said, “(Flashback for Crypton) is always a possibility. But I think those things are really integral to the differences between two characters and them, and Clarke is actually like such a happy childhood.”

Gunn said, “I mean, his parents who loved him in an easy-up, and it makes him the lowest rape of superheroes in many ways.”

As the plot of the upcoming project, the Supergirl travels through Galaxy to celebrate his 21st birthday. The way, she joins with a woman, Ruthe, and together she is injured in a fatal discovery.

The actors of the film include Milli Alcock, Eve Ridley, Mathius Shonnerts, Jason Momoa, David Krumholtz and Emily Beerham.

Supergirl: Wonder of Wonder released in theaters on 26 June 2026.
