The makers of Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi have released a new character poster which features Jagapathi Babu in a drastically changed role.

In the poster, Jagapathi Babu is seen as an older man, wearing a simple shirt, a towel draped over his shoulder and traditional spectacles. The laconic style suggests a character rooted in realism, with the makers hinting that Appala Soori plays an important role in the film’s story.
Lead actor Ram Charan also shared the poster on X and praised Jagapathi Babu’s screen presence. He wrote, “The intensity he brings to the screen is unmatched. Delighted to see our dearest @IamJaggubhai garu playing ‘Appalasoori’ in our #Peddis.”

Meanwhile, the production of pedi continues to progress. Ram Charan recently completed a major shooting schedule in Delhi, marking a significant milestone for the film after earlier interruptions.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is a large-scale sports action drama based on a rural backdrop. The film stars Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles and stars Shivaji Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma and Satya.
