Actor Jackie Shroff has talked about helping Salman Khan in the early days of his career and recalls his first impression of Shah Rukh Khan on the sets. Raja Uncle. In a conversation with India Today, Shroff looked back at how he helped Salman get his first film.

Shroff said that Salman was working as an assistant director panel (1988) At that time, his father Salim Khan was writing dialogues for the film.

He said that he had seen pictures of Salman on the sets and wanted to help him get work in films. “I saw her pictures on the set and thought she was very beautiful. So, I took her picture to Subhash Ghai ji, but he refused. Then I took it to KC Bokadia, who asked me to show it to his brother-in-law and that’s how Salman got the role. I used to carry her pictures everywhere.”

Recalling their long association in the industry, Shroff said, “Both Salman and I have worked together in most of his productions. Earlier, he would not work without me and would cast me in every one of his films. But for some time now, he has not cast me in any film.”

Shroff also talked about Shahrukh Khan and recalled meeting him during the shooting Raja Uncle (1993), in which Shahrukh played the role of his younger brother. He said, “Shahrukh was shooting Raja Uncle Then, where he played the role of my younger brother. He came to the set to shoot a song and sat quietly in a corner. He had the beautiful quality of showing respect while maintaining a certain distance. I found him very attractive and his smile was very beautiful.”
