Palestinian Group Hamas handed over three more Israeli hostages on Saturday, after about 500 days of imprisonment, as part of the ongoing ceasefire deal with Israel. Three hostages – Eli Shabi, or Levi and Ohad Ben Ami’s pride shocked Israeli, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned Hamas officials as a “monster” and promised to destroy the group.
Prior to his release, three men were designed to attend the Hamas-directed handover ceremony, which included the hostage answering the questions generated by a masked man, as fighters equipped with automated rifles were standing on each side . During the ceremony broadcasting Live, three people appeared thin, weak and yellow, even worse than 18 other hostages, already freed under the Trus, agreed to 15 months after the war in January.

‘Poor medical health’

Ellie Shabi was also taken hostage from the Kibutz Betteri with Ohad Ben Ami, while Levi was abducted from the Nova Music Festival that day.

Emotional reunion

Wrapped in an Israeli flag, Shabi was welcomed with tears by his two sisters and brothers at Sheeba Hospital in Ramat Gana, covered with a talith, Jewish prayer shawl. The reunion of the levy with his family was a calm, marked by a long hug and crying.
Prisoner swap
In return for the release of hostages, Israel freed 183 Palestinian prisoners, some convicts of participation in attacks, who killed dozens of people, as well as 111 detained in Gaza during the war.
Out of those issued, 41 West Banks returned to the city Ramllah, four were released to Israel-Einxed East Jerusalem, 131 were sent to Gaza and seven were sent to Egypt. However, their families were forbidden to celebrate their return by Israeli forces.
In a statement, the Israeli army said that “the message was given that the ceremonies and processions in support of the terrorists were prohibited during the release of terrorists”.
In Ramallah, one prisoner was helped to remove one medicine in the arms of a drug, while the other placed his oxygen bottle. Palestinian prisoner club chief Abdullah al-Zagri said that seven of the free prisoners were transferred to the hospital.
He said, “All the prisoners released today require medical care, treatment and examinations as a result of cruelty during the previous months.”
