The first full trailer of Ishq Vishk Rebound is out, and looking at it, it seems like the film starring Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibran Khan and Naila Grewal is a predictable story of friends falling in love with each other and then falling out of it, just like the original film starring Shahid Kapoor.

This time we see some millennial and Gen Z language being used well, like ‘rebound’, which means getting back together with someone after a tough break-up. Here, Pashmina Roshan and Rohit Saraf are close friends who break up with their respective partners and realise they are actually attracted to each other.

The official synopsis of the film reads, “Experience the journey of three best friends, 2 relationships, 2 breakups, and the complications that unfold. See how equations change when romance sparks, and you are left wondering if ex-friends can really stay friends? In an age where labels matter less, Ishq Vishq Rebound asks: What really defines a bond?”

Directed by Ramesh Taurani and Jaya Taurani, Ishq Vishq Rebound is directed by the accomplished Avinash Dharmadhikari. It will release in theatres on June 21.
