The actor is depicted as Rick’s old friend, played by Walton Gogins. Rick took a sudden decision to leave the White Lotus resort and go to Bangkok during his holiday with his girlfriend Chelsea, depicted by Amy Lu Wood.
Rick is found with Rockwell’s character, who has a black hard bag in his hand. Both sit for a drink, during which Rockwell’s character suggests that he is on the path of restraint.
He also shares that he has got religion and Buddhism has helped him find himself on a deep level. He reflects on how he “took the party cheese as far as it can be.”
Rick replied saying that he always takes things to “next level”, further saying that he had an idea of ​​what he was doing that night. However, it seems that Rockwell’s character discovers that Rick has completely wrong the situation.
Rockwell’s character then tells Rick that he brought something that he had asked for. Slipping the bag near Rick’s feet, he says that he hopes that Rick will not have to use it.
Rockwell also revealed that he has “thousands” of sexual encounters since going to Thailand, inspired Rick to reflect it, “Perhaps what I really want is one of these Asian girls.”

Later, Rick returns to his room, takes a black handgun from a bound bag, sets it down, and tries to call the Chelsea, which does not respond.
