Many Americans have seen in horror as the world’s richest person Elon Musk, permission to make tears through various offices of the United States government in recent weeks. Supported by President Donald Trump, and supported by a small team of true believers, he successfully siege to the vast federal bureaucracy of America.
On Tuesday, Trump signed an executive order and gave Kasturi even more power. This requires federal agencies to collaborate with their “government’s efficiency department” (known as Dog) and to cut their staff levels and to ban the new fare.
Since joining the Trump administration as a “special” government employee, in his first comments, Musk also responded to criticism that he was starting the “hostile acquisition” of the US government.
People voted for major government reforms, and these people are going to get.
Is Musk’s action similar to the “hostile acquisition” of the government or a coup? My argument is that it is a form of “State Capture”. It means here.
Why is it not a coup or self-cup
On the pretext of maximizing government efficiency and productivity, Dogi has made a place in power. it is:
- In fact, all the government payments entered the system responsible for payment
- Violation of sensitive database and private medical records
- Regular conflict of interest and transparency requirements
- United States Agency (USAID) for international development
- Got access to computer systems of many federal agencies.
Musk’s Blitzcrayg – across Washington – did not only confuse the confusion, but also rejected the clarification.
A popular argument, supported by some historians and commentators, is that the action of musk is the amount of a coup. He argues that it is not a coup in the classic sense of acquisition of physical centers of power. Instead, it is a seizure of digital infrastructure by an uneven group that demands to undo democratic practices and violate human rights.
The term, however, is not technically correct. The most widely accepted definition of the coup is:
A overtus effort by the army or other nobles within the state equipment to ignore the head of the state seating using unconstitutional means.
Since Musk and Trump are Bedfilo in this plot, technical billionaire is not clearly trying to violently ignore the President.
Another possible explanation: This is a self-cup. It describes a situation in which
The national leader seated took decisive illegal action against counterwalling institutions and nobles to eliminate the power of the opinion.
In December, South Korean President Yun Suk Yeol tried a self-cup when he declared a martial law to protect the country from opposition forces. He quickly reversed his decision between aristocratic defects and collective public demonstrations.
Although self-cups are becoming more common, musk is doing dirty work in America-not a copy. Furthermore, the main goal of Musk – bureaucracy – does not offset the nominal President Shakti (except the principles of the conspiracy).
What is ‘State Capture’?
More accurately, the mask siege occurs in a form of “state capture”. it refers:
Political actors appropriation of state resources for their own loops: Either private or political.
From this argument, the purpose of Musk may be to catch various pieces of the US government and convert the state into a tool for money extraction.
The occupation of the state is a relatively simple but extremely disastrous process. In this way it is played in countries like Indonesia, Hungary, Nigeria, Russia, Sri Lanka and South Africa (Musk’s birthplace):
First of all, political and corporate clans get control of formal institutions, information systems and bureaucracy policy-making processes.
Then, they use this power to select the rules selectively, to make biased decisions and allocate resources based on personal interests (instead of public).
In caught states, strong leaders often use economic policy and regulatory decisions to reward their political friends. For example, Hungary Prime Minister Victor Orban, Russian President Vladimir Putin and former South African President Jacob Juma have helped by their colleagues:
- Make an opponent decision
- Issue of permit and license
- Government contracts and concessions
- Forgiveness rule or tariff
- Providing tax exemption status.
The state is fundamentally a hunter process.
Telling how the US government does business, the musk may demand to enrich a small but powerful network of colleagues.
The first beneficiary will be Trump, who has no stranger to use his office to expand his family’s business empire. With a more fully captured state, Trump can play an active role in determining how public funds are spread between corporate and political nobles. This decision -making power often runs by hand with the “personal” regime, with everything with the leader.
The second beneficiary will be himself and other Silicon Valley Mega-Billionaire, who kneels for Trump. By the alleged solution to the allegedly the federal government, in the form of its technology companies, especially when it comes to the use of artificial intelligence, they were handed over by the “new” state Stand to secure attractive contracts.
The third beneficiary will be a small army of engineers and technicians working with Kasturi to raise the US government. As a loyal leg soldiers, these individuals will be compensated with career advancement, financial benefits and networking opportunities, while legal impurities will also be enjoyed. This type of Kwid Pro Quo is how ruling rule works.
What can it mean to America
As Musk continued his attack on the federal bureaucracy, American people will have to bear the consequences.
The most immediate effect of occupying the state: Worse decisions are made. By purifying experienced civil servants, cancellation of government contracts and reaching sensitive information systems, the work of Musk will reduce the standard of staying at home and will endan American life abroad.
The occupation of the state also means that the Trump administration will have less accountability for public policy decisions. With the lack of Congress and independent inspection, important decisions on distribution of economic benefits can be made informally behind closed doors.
Finally, the occupation of the state is inseparable from corruption. Trade with the US federal government may require to pass a loyalty test instead of a public interest testing soon.
Trump’s enemies will face more obstacles, while their colleagues will have a seat on the table.
