IQO introduced the NEO10 and NEO10 Pro last November, and today, the brand unveiled the NEO 10R after a one -month promo campaign. However, while the NEO10 and the NEO10 Pro remains China -unnatural, IQO NEO 10R will be sold in India – at least initially. We spent some time with IQO NEO 10R, and here are our first impressions of smartphones.
IQO NEO 10R – For the purpose of students, especially to play those games – comes in a black retail box, including a protective case, a SIM Ejector Tool, some documentation, a USB cable and an 80W power adapter.
The IQO NEO 10R is built around the AMOLED display and 144Hz refresh rate of the 10-bit 6.78 “2,800×1,260- Pixel resolution, which is limited to selecting the game since the rest of the UI. The Widewin L1 is limited to the game.
The screen has a concentrated punch-hole for a 32MP selfie camera using the GC32e1-WA1XA sensor. It has f/2.45 aperture and can record videos in 4K resolution up to 30 FPS.
The display also has a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. It is sharp and accurate, but we would prefer it to be kept high for better phone-uniting experience.
Flip the phone around, and you see a camera island reminiscent of IQO 13. It has two cameras – 50MP primary and 8MP ultravide. The primary camera has a f/1.79 aperture and uses the Sony IMX882 sensor, while the ultravide camera has f/2.2 aperture and uses GC08A3-WA1XA sensor. The 50MP unit has OIS and can record up to 60 FPS in 4K resolution.
We have received the resing blue model of IQO NEO 10R, which has been “specially designed for India.” The other version is called the Mooncite Titanium. Both are 7.98 mm thin, weighing 196g, and plastic builds.
The rear panel of IQO NEO 10R does not feel as a premium as a back cover of the Indian NEO9 Pro – especially fierce red model in which a faux leather was painted back – and it is expected that looking at the price difference. In addition, we spent a short time spent with the phone, the rear cover became easily smooth.
The resing blue model of the IQO NEO 10R has a two-tone white-blue design with pixel texture. It is inspired by the racing track and looks calm. There is also an IQO logo at the intersection of two colors, and the camera is a lesson under the island “Neo Power to Win.” However, it only appears at a few angles, so you will not even pay attention that it is mostly time.
The right-side frame of the IQO NEO 10R has a volume rocker and power button with a decent reaction. The bottom is the USB-C port, which is flanks by a SIM card slot, primary mic and a speaker grill. The top is the top IR blaster, included by another microphone.
Port and control
Under the hood, we have Snapdragon 8S General 3 SoC with RAM and 256GB storage up to 12GB. Our 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS are the top-end model with 4.1 storage, and whether you choose the memory configuration you will get IQO Neo 10R with Android 15-based FunTouch OS 15. IQO has promised a four -year security update to a three -year Android upgrade and NEO 10R, and will be rolled out every month.
IQO NEO 10R was smooth during our use, and when we could not play our normal games at Neo 10R before writing this post, we had several one -hour call of duty: during the mobile session and phone and later without any significant decline in performance. Our graphics settings were set on the “very high” graphic quality and “Max” frame rate for gameplay.
It is also worth noting that the IQO NEO 10R NEO9 Pro supercomputeing chip does not come with an independent display chip like Q1. IQO said that there are two reasons: 1) The cost of NEO 10R is low; 2) Consumers’ needs in this segment are different in terms of gaming. They prefer stable FPS instead of high FPS, which was for chip Q1 on the Neo9 Pro. Neo 10R is not the successor of the NEO9 Pro, after all.
You can check the chart below for the performance of IQO NEO 10R in synthetic benchmark tests.
The IQO NEO 10R packs a 6,400 mAh battery, and it is impressive that the NEO 10R has considered the battery capacity since the NEO9 Pro with similar thickness ships with 5,160 mAh battery. Note that the battery of NEO 10R is not the silicone-carbon type. We are talking about Lee-ion Sale here.
The NEO 10R has 80W charging support, and IQO says it can charge up to 50% in 26 minutes and 100% in 55 minutes. In our test, it charged 1%to 11%in 5 minutes, 21%in 10 minutes, 30%in 15 minutes, 39%in 20 minutes, 50%in 27 minutes, 56%in 30 minutes and 100%in 58 minutes. Note that the test was run with mobile data and the Wi-Fi hotspot was discontinued, but always turned on. When charging the phone, your mileage will probably be different based on your use and ambient temperature.
Other highlights of IQO NEO 10R include stereo speakers, hi-race audio, 4D game vibration and an IP65 rating. The smartphone also supports bypass charging, which is appreciated.
IQO NEO 10r is for pre -booking in India through Amazon.in.
