After introducing the IQO Z10 and Z10X in India last April, the IQOO IQO IQO Z10 is set to expand the Z10 series with Lite 5G launch. The company has released an official teaser claiming that the upcoming Z10 Light 5G will have the largest battery in the sub-RS 10,000 Block, IE, 6,000mAH unit. In addition, the teaser suggests that the upcoming device is going to sports a dual-rear camera setup and will be operated by the Snapdragon chipset. For reference, the standard IQO Z10 is powered by Snapdragon 7S General 3 chipset, while the Z10X MediaTek runs on the demonsal 7300 processor.
According to a teaser shared by Eku India on X (east Twitter), IQO Z10 Lite 5G will officially launch in India on 18 June. As seen in the image, the phone will come in a blue option. However, we also expect to see the phone launch in other color variants. Interestingly, X accounts of Snapdragon India and Amazon India have also been tagged in the post, suggesting that the upcoming phone will have a Snapdragon chip under the hood and will be available for purchase through Amazon.
In addition, no official details about IQO Z10 Lite 5G are yet known.
When it comes to expectations, the IQoo Z10 Lite 5G may feature 6.5 to 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and possibly 120Hz refresh rates. Its predecessor, Z9 light, launched with a 6.56 inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and 90Hz screen refresh rate.
Inside, a Snapdragon processor is expected to look at, as mentioned above – possibly Snapdragon 4 General 2 chip, an SOC that we have already seen in phones like Redmi 14C 5G and POCO M7 5G. The Z9 Lite was operated by 6300 SoC.
The IQO has already confirmed that the Z10 Light 5G battery capacity will be 6,000mAh, which is a significant collision with a 5,000mAh battery seen on the Z9 light. However, we hope that the charging speed will remain the same as the previous year’s model, IE, 15W, with a charger inside the box. In terms of software, the phone will probably ship with Funtouch OS 15 that is in Android 15.
Finally, in the context of optics, we are not expecting major upgrades here. The IQoo Z10 Lite 5G will possibly have a similar camera setup with the Z9 Light, IE, 50-Megapixel Dual-Rear Setup as well as an 8-megapixel front camera for selfie.
For pricing, the IQO Z10 Lite is expected to start from Rs 9,999, which is qualifying for the sub-RS 10,000 segment. The phone will probably come with 4GB and 6GB RAM options, and at least 128GB base storage will be similar to its predecessor.
