IQOO is ready for the launch of its NEO 10R smartphone in India. Iqu India CEO Nipun Maria indicated at the adjacent launch of the device with a cryptic post on his X (East Twitter) handle. The post contains a repeated letter of about 10 times, which strongly suggests that the upcoming phone is actually IQO NEO 10R, which has been in the rumor for weeks. Here is everything we know.
The upcoming IQO NEO 10R will be the first R-series device from the brand in India, which will be after the launch of IQO NEO 9 Pro last year. The price of this model was Rs 34,999, and being part of the more affordable R series with NEO 10R, it is expected to carry a low -price tag. Tipster Paras Guglani suggests that the price of NEO 10R will be less than Rs 30,000, which targets users in search of a mid-range device with premium features. More premium IQO NEO 10 version may be launched later and is likely to compete with high-ending equipment such as OnePlus 13R for Rs 40,000.
Although the official specifications are yet to be confirmed, the leak has already provided the insight what NEO 10R can offer. The smartphone is rumored to be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8S General 3 chipset. It is also expected to feature 6,400mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, and the company is likely to include a charger in the box, a step that continues the IQO’s customer-friendly approach.
IQO NEO 10R can be introduced in two configurations – 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The device has been tipped to sports a 6.78 -inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. On the camera front, the NEO 10R can come at the rear with a dual-camera setup, with a 50-megapixel Sony Lyt-600 main sensor and 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. Although it lacks a third camera, which is often found in this price range, the boycott of the macro lens cannot be missed, as such sensors usually provide limited value. The front camera is rumored to have a 16-megapixel sensor for selfie and video calls.
While all this information is based on leaks, the rest of the features are currently wrapping. However, the official details of IQO NEO 10R are expected to be announced soon, including the official launch date.
