Imphal International Film Festival will be held from 6th February
Imphal International Film Festival has been announced. It will run for three days and end on February 9.

In Manipur, Ikhoigi (Our) Imphal International Film Festival (EIIFF) will be held from February 6-9, 2025 at various locations in Imphal to entertain and provide relief to the people affected by the conflict.
Speaking to the media at the Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), Sunju Bachaspatimayum, Secretary, MSFDS, said, during the festival, there will be a variety of activities ranging from international competitions in various categories, to screenings of world cinema and masterclasses.

The festival is jointly organized by Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), Manipur State Film and Television Institute (MSFTI) in collaboration with Film Forum Manipur. It will screen 57 international films, including the Manipuri classic Ishanau (The Chosen One), which will be the opening film of the festival.
Other restored Manipuri films like Sanakheithel, Yairipok Thambalanu and Chatledo Idi will also be screened.
Apart from the screening, there will also be various events including film pitching classes, a master class on short films, directing class, panel discussions, press meets and cultural performances. Thirteen films from Manipur have been selected for EIFF 2025. The festival will screen 33 international films and 16 non-fiction films.
It received entries from eight different countries for the feature film competition section. Some of the countries that have entered the competition are Vietnam, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Pakistan.
