Adam Brody and Kristen Bell have been one of the most loved onscreen couples recently, after the pair’s chemistry in the popular show, Nobody Wants This.
While Brody played hot Rabbi Noah, Bell played Joan. As much as there is buzz about the story of the show, fans are equally excited about the first kiss shared by the characters on screen.
Speaking with People Magazine, Brody shared the process behind filming the kiss in the second episode of season one. The actor claimed that while he was practicing his lines with Bale before the shot was ready, he read something about the greatest kiss of all time.
The OC star shared, “I’m paraphrasing, but it said something like, ‘This is the greatest ever.'” Further recalling the scene, he added, “‘Put your ice cream down;’ ‘Put the bag down’ was there I think ‘He touches her face.’ I mean, I’m just happy that I got to be a part of an obviously memorable kiss, it’s a very cinematic thing.”
However, the actor joked that being a great onscreen kisser hasn’t helped him get out of household chores. He revealed that this scene, or even playing the lead role in a Netflix series, has never raised his status in front of his wife or children.

The actor revealed, “No. “I can’t say it has improved my situation, but they treat me well here, so I have nothing to complain about.” Talking about raising the level of romance, he credited his wife by saying, “Ah, well, whatever I do, I learn from my wife.”
Meanwhile, Nobody Wants This revolves around a Jewish rabbi who falls in love with a girl. With religious challenges in their way, they find a solution to live together. The first season was a hit, and the streaming platform has renewed the show for Season 2.
