Popsicles are indeed a refreshing and quintessential summer treat that brings relief from the heat. This semi-hardened frozen dessert comes in many delicious flavours. You must admit that its cool taste makes us all drool. However, the effect of food experiments has not spared even the most loved dessert. In a video that is now going viral on Instagram, a man was seen making some DIY popsicles, which was touted as the “latest delicious summer hack”. The ingredients? Noodles broth, meat pieces and green-leafy salad. If you have already started questioning its taste, we don’t blame you as social media users too share similar sentiments.

The video begins with the man putting some noodle strips and some amount of soup into a popsicle mould. He inserts a spoon into one of the holes and closes it. Repeating the process, the man then puts vegetables and meat pieces into the other mould. Next, the popsicles filled with unique ingredients are placed inside a refrigerator to freeze. After some time, the man takes out the popsicle moulds and opens the cone-shaped lid. It reveals a peculiar-looking frozen salad-cum-soup popsicle. The man takes a bite and is seen enjoying his unique creation. The video has over 2.1 million views.

However, foodies were not too impressed with the snacky popsicle and reacted adversely to the video. One sarcastic comment read, “Do you think God lives in heaven because even he is scared of what he created?”

One person wondered, “Why would anyone want frozen chicken noodle soup?”

Someone else joked, “If I was ever given frozen soup I would turn into Australopithecus and start cutting people up.”

One person highlighted that Instagram Reels was the reason that forced them to “put their phone down for the day.”

Many believe the man should “go straight to jail”

One food lover called the popsicle “illegal”

“Just because you can doesn’t mean you should,” one Instagrammer pointed out.
