Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starred in the Tamil romance comedy Kandukondain Kandukondain in the year 2000. It starred Tabu, Mammootty, Ajit Kumar and Abbas in important roles. On May 5, 2020, Kandukondain Kandukondain completed 20 years of its release and filmmaker Rajiv Menon shared an unseen behind-the-scenes footage of the film’s cast including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Tabu, Ajith Kumar, Mammootty and Abbas. They started creating ruckus and laughing loudly while posing for a perfect frame.

What caught the attention in the first look was the glimpse of none other than young Aishwarya Rai, who was looking drop dead gorgeous in a white saree paired with other actors. Her beauty exuded sophistication while her flawless beauty left everyone in awe.

Along with the glimpse, Rajeev Menon also wrote a long caption, expressing his gratitude for the immense love people have given to this evergreen classic film and the successes it has achieved.

The film earned an overwhelming response at the box office right after its release and the producers distributed dubbed versions across the world. The film also received several awards, including a National Film Award and two Filmfare South Awards.
