When your mother is a beautiful woman, you are bound to follow in her footsteps and be like her, right? Just like Nicole Kidman’s daughter, who was desperate to make her fashion show debut alongside her stylish mother.
In an interview with Vogue Australia published on August 2, Kidman talked about her daughter’s first fashion show on Sunday, which she shared with husband Keith Urban. “That’s what I told her: When she’s 16, she’s allowed to be in the show. She’s wanted to go for a long time.”
“That was his first step into this field, and that was it,” she said of the Balenciaga event. “I say, ‘No, not anymore.’ It’s a push. I don’t want to stop him because I don’t want to pamper him,” she added.
Earlier this year, both of Nicole Kidman’s young daughters made their red carpet debut alongside their parents at the AFI Life Achievement Awards Gala in April 2024, where their mother was the evening’s honoree. At the event, the actress joked, “You’d have to ask her,” when People asked how she felt about her teenage daughters joining her to celebrate her success.
Nicole Kidman is the proud mother of four children: Bella, Connor, Faith, and Sunday. Of these, Sunday Rose is going on to pursue a career in the filmmaking industry. According to PEOPLE, Kidman’s father first suggested the name Sunday in honor of Australian arts patron, Sunday Reed. The couple, who describe Sunday as their “favorite day,” clearly agreed.
Kidman’s daughter Sunday also adopted a Southern accent in addition to a bit of her parents’ Australian accent. This was simply because the family moved to Tennessee when Sunday was young.
“My daughters are Nashvillians! They have a Southern accent,” Kidman told People in 2016. “They also have some Australian in them. They have an unusual mix. They’re hybrids.”
According to Kidman’s old interview with PEOPLE in 2010, Sunday has been passionate about music since she was just 2 years old.
