Hrithik Roshan was initially embarrassed about The Roshans’ documentary. here’s why
Hrithik Roshan addressed his early embarrassment with The Roshans’ documentary, in which he highlighted his family’s heritage and the inspiration he drew from it.
Actor Hrithik Roshan talks about his family documentary The Roshans ahead of its release on Netflix. Addressing the media, the actor shared why he felt ’embarrassed’ when his father Rakesh Roshan came up with the idea of a documentary on his family.
talking about Netflix documentary on his family, The RoshansHrithik said that he does not like attention. “When my father said he wanted to make this documentary, at first I felt embarrassed. I don’t like attention. And then I realized it wasn’t about me.”
He said that when he looks back on his career and wonders how he got that inspiration for his first film, he realizes “it’s present in his cells, as if it was what pushed him forward.”
“It is the history of my ancestors, parents, grandfather and uncles who were in my cells that inspired me. It was their stories that inspired me so much that I became invincible. The true celebration of this documentary is whether it Able to inspire others, students and humans across the world,” the War actor said.

Hrithik then talked about his grandfather, veteran musician Roshan Lal Nagrath, popularly known as Roshan. “I never met my grandfather. I wonder what interactions I would have with him if, somehow, I magically got the chance.”
He further added, “After watching the documentary, I would really like to ask him about his childhood and the things he went through. I wonder what he would have asked me, I think he might have asked me “Whether I’m happy.”
He said, “I often wonder what was driving me when I was doing my first film. The simplest answer is that it was already present in my cells, that’s genetic evolution.”

The Roshans is a special docu-series that gives a closer look at the Roshan family, consisting of Rakesh Roshan, Rajesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan. It is scheduled to release on Netflix on January 17.
