Indian producer Pritish Nandy died of a heart attack on January 8, 2025. Soon, many celebrities from the film industry shared their grief and expressed their condolences. Now Hrithik Roshan has expressed shock and grief over his demise. Expressing condolences, Roshan also thanked Nandy for being by his side during the difficult times.
On January 9, 2025, Hrithik Roshan took to X (formerly Twitter) and condoled the demise of Pritish Nandy. In an emotional note he said, “Deeply shocked and saddened by the passing of a man whom I respected and admired greatly.”
Expressing his gratitude, Hrithik further said, “Pritish, thank you for always saying kind words to me; Thank you for always being gentle when giving me advice. Thank you for always being there in difficult times. I will miss our conversation. Tear out.”

Earlier, Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter co-star Anil Kapoor also had some honest words about Pritish Nandy. On his Instagram Stories he said, “Shocked and saddened by the demise of my dear friend Pritish Nandy. A fearless editor, a brave soul and a man of his word, he displayed integrity like no other. Anil said, “My condolences are with his family. I will always miss his presence, his voice and his fearless spirit in everything he did.”
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anupam Kher, Hansal Mehta, Neil Nitin Mukesh and others also expressed grief.
For those unaware, Pritish Nandy produced Bollywood films like Kaante, Chameli, Shaadi Ke Side Effects and many more. He also helmed the series Four More Shots Please, which also earned an International Emmy nomination.
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is busy shooting for War 2. His first film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai is being re-released in theaters today on January 10.
