Akshay Kumar -led ‘Housefull 5’ passed Monday’s test at the box office with flying colors. Despite generating mixed reviews, slapstick comedy managed to attract the audience in theaters, wrapping its first Monday in a net of Rs 13 crore in India. The four -day collection of the film is now Rs 100.5 crore, which is making the fastest film in the franchise to enter a club of Rs 100 crore.
Tarun Mansukhani-Directoral claims a surprising starcast, in which Ritish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan joined Kumar and joined Kumar. However, this is the weight of the franchise and the lack of any competition in the Hindi market that has helped the film achieve such success.

Meanwhile, the film is already the fourth largest opener of Kumar’s career, which is after ‘Mission Mangal’ (Rs 29.16 crore), ‘Sorivanshi’ (Rs 26.29 crore), and ‘Gold’ (Rs 25.25 crore).
Interestingly, ‘Housefull 4’ remains the highest grossing Hindi film of Kumar’s career for Rs 210.3 crore in his lifetime. This will be an important record for the actor if ‘Housefull 5’ manages to cross his predecessor at the box office by the end of his run.
