Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday, April 11, 2026, due to extreme exhaustion and chest infection. The 92-year-old singer’s health update was shared by her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle, who requested privacy for the family during this time.

In an earlier report, Dr Pratit Samdani of Breach Candy Hospital had said that the veteran singer was admitted after suffering a cardiac arrest and is being cared for at the emergency medical services unit. Further updates from Bhosale’s family or the hospital are awaited.
