Holi is almost here! This year, The Festival of Colors will be celebrated on March 14, 2025. During this festival, family and friends gather together with bright colors of each other’s face and clothes. Markets filled with all types of water guns and balloons. And like any other Indian festival, Holi celebrations are also incomplete without panoramic food and sweets. From Gujiya to Malpua – there are many traditional foods associated with the occasion. Another such popular food is quintaceant chat during the Holi festival. This Dahi Puri Chaat will be ready in just 5 minutes and makes for a delicious breakfast to celebrate the festival.
The crispy pani Puri is filled with an alu masala mixture and tamarind is at the top with chutney, coriander chutney and sweet curd. This Dahi Puri Chaat recipe not only tastes delicious, but is easy to make. This recipe has been shared by food blogger Parul on her Youtube channel ‘Cook with Parul’. Dahi Puri Chaat Recipe: How to make Dahi Puri Chaat
To start, we first need to prepare tamarind chutney and coriander chutney. For tamarind chutney, soak tamarind (tamarind) in warm water for about 15-20 minutes. To make a smooth paste, transfer it to a mixer grinder. Using a sieve, stress the prepared paste thoroughly and remove any remaining remains.
Now, heat some oil in a pan. Add cumin, hing and tamarind paste. Add good (jaggery) and mix well. Add sugar, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, black pepper powder, salt and black salt. Mix well and allow it to cook until it becomes thick. For coriander chutney, add coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chillies, hing, salt, cumin, dry mango powder, lemon juice, water and roasted gram lentils in the mixer grinder. Grind well to make a smooth paste.
Take a bowl of right and add sugar and salt. Mix well and keep it aside. In a separate bowl, add mashed potatoes, boiled moong dal, red chili powder, salt and coriander leaves. Be sure to mix everything together. Arrange for Pani Puris on a plate and give them accessories with the prepared ELU masala mixture. Top them with chopped onions, tomatoes, tamarind chutney and coriander chutney. Finally, add right and sugar mixture. Sprinkle red chili powder, chaat masala, sev and coriander leaves on top.
