Hilary Swank is the new mom in town. The actress welcomed 20-month-old twins with husband Philipp Schneider in 2023. In conversation with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, Swank shared that with playing a mom, everything feels new again.
She said that despite being 50, she feels like 30. Talking about how she spent Christmas with her children, Swank revealed that although her children are still too young to understand the traditions, they feel special.
While sitting down for an interview with Kotb and Hager on the Today show, the actress revealed, “Last year was technically their first Christmas, but they were totally clueless. This time, they saw a tree with lights.” She claimed that the children were amazed by the decorations and lights.
Opening up on how her outlook on life changed after becoming a mother, Swank revealed, “Everything is new again.” The actress added, “You hear it, but until you experience it, you’re just like, ‘What does this mean?’ But now I know.”
The Karate Kid actress added, “Every day with him is so divine. It’s a blessing, and I feel so grateful and I’m so happy.” Swank turns 50 this year, but “I feel like I’m 30 because I have 20-month-olds.”
Further in her conversation, the actress revealed that before becoming a mother to a 20-month-old baby, she was taking care of her second child, which has been her career.

The Freedom Writers star revealed, “So I was really focused on career and I wasn’t ready to have kids in my 20s, or even really in my 30s, and then I got into my 40s. And I didn’t have a partner. That doesn’t mean I have to have a partner.”
She added, “A lot of people find donors, and it’s a wonderful option; a lot of people adopt; there are a lot of different ways, and so I was willing to do anything.”
