Higher is expanding its OLED TV lineup in India with the new C90 and C95 series. The company says that this new TV lineup is for users who are looking for high-end facilities and big-screen smart TVs. The new Higher C90 series includes 55 inch, 65-inch and 77-inch screen size. On the other hand, the C95 sits in the high value section and comes in a 55 -inch and 65 -inch variants.
For pricing, the Higher C90 OLED series starts at Rs 1,29,990, while the Higher C95 OLED series starts from Rs 1,56,990. New OLED TV lineup – C90 and C95 series – now available in the market. Higher C90 and C95 OLED series specifications
Let’s take a detailed look as to what are the new OLED smart TV lineups of Higher.
design: The Higher C90 series is available in 55-inch, 65-inch and 77-inch screen size, while C95 comes in 55 inch and 65-inch variants. Both the smart TV series have OLED panels with thin bezels and can be placed on a metal kunda stand to allow more flexible viewing angles.
Display: In terms of display technology, both C90 and C95 series use TV OLED panels. Higher says that these OLED panels provide self-enhancing pixels for deep blacks and vivid colors. They also support the Dolby Vision IQ and HDR 10+, which optimize the image quality based on the ambient lighting and visible-scenes. TV speed also comes with MEMC (speed estimates, speed compensation) to improve clarity, which is particularly useful for booked videos and gaming materials.
Operating system and storage: Higher OLED TVs run on Google TV and offer hand -free voice control, allowing users to navigate the material using voice commands. Internal, Higher C90 and C95 OLED series are equipped with apps and multitasking for 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
Connectivity: In terms of connectivity, Higher C90 and C95 OLED series include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Haicast and underlying Chromecast support. The TVS also supports Bluetooth Sound Cast, allowing users to stream audio from mobile devices through TV speakers system.
Major differences between Higher C90 and C95 OLED series
While both Hier C90 and C95 OLED series include similar specifications, they differ in pricing. Additionally, two series vary slightly in audio and gaming features. The C95 model 2.1-channel is equipped with a 50-watt sound system, tuned by Harman Cardon and supports Dolby Atomos and DBX-TV audio enhancement. On the other hand, the 77-inch C90 model, facilitates more powerful 65-watt setup.
Higher says that it has targeted the C95 series in gaming users, which includes advanced features such as 144Hz refresh rate, AMD FREESYNC premium, variable refresh rate (VRR), and auto low latency mode (ALLM) for smooth gameplay and low input legs. The company notes that the C90 series is also gaming-friendly, it provides a slightly lower 120Hz refresh rate.
For stability, all smart TVs in the Higher C90 and C95 OLED series will come up with a solar-driven remote control, which can also be recharged through the USB Type-C port.
