Hey, Dwayne: Vin Diesel’s shoutout to The Rock at the Golden Globes 2025
Vin Diesel light-heartedly addressed Dwayne Johnson and laughed during his speech at the 82nd Golden Globes. After once engaging in a fight, the two actors have reconciled.
The 82nd Golden Globe Awards made headlines not only for its winners but also for its dramatic moments, including a light-hearted interaction between Fast & Furious co-stars Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson, whose feud dates back to 2016 .
Wynn, who was on stage to present Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande with the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement Award for Wicked, paused before beginning his speech to address his former co-star, “Hey, Dwayne.”
As Diesel addressed Johnson, who was sitting in the front row, the camera panned to him and revealed a strange smile. The audience, well aware of the history between the two actors, burst into laughter.

Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson famously worked together on the Fast & Furious franchise. However, their off-screen tensions became public during the shooting of The Fate of the Furious in 2016.

Johnson posted a lengthy, now-deleted Instagram post in which she praised her female co-stars and the crew of The Fate of the Furious, but criticized some male co-stars without naming them.
Johnson wrote, “There is no other franchise that makes my blood boil more than this one.” “My female co-stars are always amazing, and I love them. However, the story is different with my male co-stars.” She further added, ”Those who are are not so stupid that they can’t do anything about it. Candy a****. When you watch this movie next April and it feels like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is literally boiling – you’re right.
The two have apparently reconciled, with Johnson possibly returning as Hobbs in Fast X: Part 2, the 11th film in the Fast & Furious franchise.
“Last summer, Vin and I left all the past behind,” Johnson posted on X on June 1, 2023. ,
