All Galaxy S25 models worldwide come with 12GB RAM, right? Wrong. The Galaxy S25 Ultra also has a 16GB memory option, but only in Korea, China, and Taiwan.
We don’t have a clue why Samsung is keeping it so limited, we assume the company may have done some market research that concluded that people in these places are looking at the RAM on the spec sheet and based on that Are more likely to make a purchasing decision.
Still, if you want the S25 Ultra with 16GB RAM, you’ll have to buy it from Korea, China, or Taiwan. In China and Taiwan, the model with 1TB of storage has 16GB of RAM, while in Korea things get even weirder as you can buy it with 12GB or 16GB.
For those of us who don’t live in these places, it’s 12 GB. Needless to say, all of Samsung’s Android smartphone-making competitors have moved to 16GB RAM for their flagships some time ago, but then they’ve also had faster wired and wireless charging for roughly the same amount of time, and Samsung still Sells more than them, globally. So maybe specifications don’t matter that much in most people’s purchasing decisions?
