Vivo has collaborated with world-renowned filmmaker Sam Caulder to create a short film, shot entirely on the company’s latest camera flagship, the X300 Ultra. The short film is called The Garden Route, and you can watch it in full below.
According to Vivo’s press release, the film celebrates the natural beauty of South Africa, and depicts “a journey shaped by movement, friendship and discovery”. Sam Caulder said: “I thought leaving my cameras behind would make things harder. It turned out to be a liberation. Removing the technical barriers allowed me to be fully present with my friends and the true beauty of this place.”
Caulder’s intention in making the film was “not to interpret this land, but to inhabit it – turning fleeting, unwritten moments into a cinematic work that feels less as if it was constructed, and more as if it were lived”. He used both telephoto extenders with the
