Hema Malini shares update on Dharmendra’s health, urges fans to pray for him
Actress Hema Malini shared an update on her husband Dharmendra’s health. The 89-year-old has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
Veteran actor Dharmendra has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. His wife, actor-politician, Hema Malini shared an update on his health on social media.
His post read, “I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji who is in the hospital for observation. He is being constantly monitored and we are all with him. (folded hands emoji) I request you all to pray for his well-being and speedy recovery.”

The team of the 89 year old man told India Today While the Bollywood icon is admitted to the hospital, his condition is stable. A statement from his team read, “Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as they become available. Everyone is requested to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy.”
Earlier during the day, the actor’s team released another statement saying there was nothing to worry about. “He has requested privacy at this time. He is under observation, but there is no cause for concern,” the team said.
Earlier in October 2025, he was admitted to the same hospital for a routine medical checkup. The team told us, “Considering his age he undergoes several tests from time to time and is in the hospital for the same. Maybe someone might have seen him and made the news. He is absolutely fine and there is nothing to worry about.”
Dharmendra, who turned 90 this December, is still active on screen. The veteran actor will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming biographical war drama ‘Ikkis’ alongside Agastya Nanda and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is scheduled for theatrical release in December 2025.
