Hema Malini shares a lifetime of love and memories with her Dharam ji in new pictures
After the death of the legendary actor, Hema Malini remembered her husband Dharmendra with emotional pictures and a heartfelt tribute. She reflects on their decades of togetherness, the memories cherished and the irreplaceable void left behind.

Actress and politician Hema Malini on Thursday shared a series of touching pictures remembering her husband, veteran actor Dharmendra. Dharmendra, known as the He-Man of Bollywood, died in Mumbai earlier this week. Malini posted a set of old, intimate moments with him, captioning it, “Some memorable moments”
In another set, he reflected on their decades-long companionship, writing, “Togetherness over the years – always there for us. Some special moments”

The posts came soon after he shared An official tribute on social mediaWhere Bollywood’s dream girl talked about Dharmendra’s warmth, generosity and affection – not just towards her, but towards everyone who came in his path. His note is like a deeply personal memory of a man who Shaped an entire era of Hindi cinema,
A part of her caption read, “My personal loss is indescribable, and the void it created will last my entire life. After years together, I am left with countless memories to relive many special moments” (sic).

Hema Malini and Dharmendra married in May 1980. At that time, Dharmendra was already married to Prakash Kaur and had four children – Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajita and Vijeta. He and Hema later welcomed their daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.

The actor was suffering from respiratory issues and was briefly admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital before being taken home under medical care. He died on 24 November.
