Indian rapper Soraj Cherucat, known as Hanumankand, recently announced his latest Forest in Tamil cinema. The singer confirmed his voice to Thalapathy Vijay’s last film ‘Jan Nayagan’, directed by H Winith. The project is already making waves as Vijay’s final on-screen appearance, before he dedicated himself to politics.

Hanumankand confirmed his cooperation with composer Anirudh Ravichender for the song. In a recent conversation with Anand Vikan, Hanumankand shared, “I have provided a great rap song for the Thalapathi Vijay in Jana Nayagan composed by Anirudh.”

He did not share anything else about the theme and mood of the track, but this news has stimulated the enthusiasm among fans on social media.

This is not the first time Hanumankand has contributed to cinema with his voice. Earlier, he has worked on the film soundtrack for ‘Maddeva’ for Fahd Fasil’s ‘Aveshm’ (2024) in the Kannada Action Movie ‘Popcorn Monkey Tiger’ (2020) (2020) (2020) and ‘The Last Dance’.

Meanwhile, ‘Jan Nayagan’ is scheduled to be released on January 9, 2026 with the Pongal festival.
