After the Bombay High Court dismisses her petition, actress Hansika Motwani is now ready to face the trial. The legal proceedings stems from a trial filed by her former sister -in -law Nancy James, who has accused Motwani of cruelty. The court’s decision to reject the actress’s request to dismiss the complaint means that the matter will now proceed for a full testing.
Singham 2 star’s mother, Jyotika Motwani, has also been nominated in the case, which has been filed on the basis of cruelty and other criminal allegations.
According to the documents received by Hindustan Times, 498A (dowry -related cruelty), 323 (voluntarily injured), and 352 (498A related cruelty), 352 (cruelty to dowry), 352 (dowry -related cruelty), 323 (voluntary) have been filed against the actress and her mother.
Why has Nancy James taken legal action against Hansika Motwani and her former mother -in -law?
Nancy James, who was married to Prashant Motwani, alleged that he was a victim of domestic violence, due to which he was suffering from bell paralysis. She used to say in her trial that her in -laws often demanded money and expensive gifts. James alleged that he was forced to sell his flat by the motives.
A source said to reveal the media portal, “Nancy and Prashant Motwani, brother of Hansika, was a grand wedding ceremony in March 2021. However, their marriage was under stress since the beginning. A year later, the two started living separately.”
In February, Hansika and her mother got an anticipatory bail by the Mumbai session court. Months later, the actress filed a petition to reduce the cedar filed against her in court. However, his petition is dismissed, and so he will face a test.
According to media reports, Hansika Motwani is also facing trouble in her marriage with Sohail Khaturia.
