The military campaign in Gaza will continue until there is a Gaza free from Hamas, Israeli Ambassador Reven Azar told NDTV World today. The 42-day temporary ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas is now over and Hamas has gone back to its promise to release the hostages abducted by the Hamas terrorist organization. This, Mr. Azar said, “There is a violation of the agreement, and therefore, left Israel to resort to military pressure without any alternative.”
Mr. Azar said, “Today there can be a peace, if Hamas agrees and follows the conditions set for it,” Mr. Azar said that two main situations include freeing all the remaining hostages and can never join themselves to start terrorist attacks on Israel.
But Hamas does not want peace, he told NDTV World, which cited the decision not to release the hostages. “Hamas has repeatedly rejected the proposals of American mediator. It simply refuses to leave the hostages. Now there is no option left for Israel, but to resort to military pressure.”
“Military pressure is effective and works,” he said, “it is due to military pressure that 195 of the 254 hostages have been released in the first place.”
The United States has “fully supported Israel” in its efforts to bring permanent peace to the region for both the Jews, and the Jews, as well as the Jews, to cross the Gaza of any terrorist elements.
Israel, he said, will carry forward its efforts for the desired result at any cost. “If no solution is found diplomatically, we will receive it military,” he said.
Reacting to condemnation globally, the Israeli ambassador said, “The condemnation does not change the facts. And the fact is that there is a terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip that continues to hold the hostages. They are holding the hostages. They are not only from Israel, but they are hostage to the entire Palestinian population.”
He said, “Hamas is taking control of the assistance sent and selling them to the Palestinian people. They are trying to get people out with the hope of surrendering to Israel. It’s not going to happen. It’s not going to happen. It’s ridiculous,” he said, “Tel Aviv’s intentions clarified.
Instead of condemning Israel, what we expect from an responsible international community is “pressurize Hamas, and help push for efforts to make peace in the region. They should do so that the Palestinians hope to encourage a new and medium Palestine Leadership to encourage a new and medium Palestinian leadership by taking out Hamas’s top brass out of the gaza.”
He said, “Any person in the international community who says that military pressure should not be used, basically wants to surrender Israel to a terrorist organization that will hold a grip on Gaza forever. It may not be acceptable,” he said.
The ambassador said that “Hamas has to understand that his control of Gaza Patti is over. They have to abandon power at any cost. Israel will allow him to leave Gaza in peace forever, which will give the Palestinian people a chance to be a better future.”
“Hamas has now got only two options – one has to return to the diplomatic table in a creative way and accept the conditions. It will stop the military campaign. The second option is not to cooperate for them. Whatever will be done, it will leave Israel for a ground attack for Gaza, which is to completely clean all the terrorist elements and then a new terrorist is associated with a new man It is connected and then bring peace and prosperity to a fresh spread.
“Israel has resolution and flexibility to do this, but I want to make it clear that we would like to take the first option – diplomacy and dialogue. We will only resort to two options when Hamas refuses to cooperate.”
The Israeli ambassador concluded, saying that “In this holy month of Ramadan (Ramadan), more than 75,000 Muslims come to pray in the holy city of Jerusalem in Israel every day. We have always supported religious freedom. These are the terrorists that we go after.”
Hamas still keeps 59 Israeli hostages, which he has refused to release so far.
