Suriya is all set to be seen in the lead role in the romantic drama Vishwanath & Sons directed by Lucky Bashkar filmmaker Venky Atluri. Now, the composer of the film, GV Prakash Kumarhas revealed that the film contains many surprising elements and only half of it has been revealed in the teaser.

Speaking with Cinema Vikatan, the actor-composer said, “Vishwanath & Sons has a lot of surprises; we’ve only revealed half of it in the teaser. In fact, after Lucky Baskar, I called Suriya sir and asked him to do a film with Venky Atluri.”
GVP said, “The output has come out in very good quality. There is a lot of scope for music. We have used a style that will appeal to Suriya sir’s female audience. When I was in school, I used to enjoy Ghajini, that’s how we look at Suriya sir, but even now, he has the same charm.”

Vishwanath and Sons This is the story of 40 year old disciplined international pistol shooter Sanjay Vishwanath. As his life progresses, there is a turning point when he becomes the mentor of a young woman with a wild nature and chaotic behavior. However, she soon develops feelings for him, leading to an unexpected and intense story of romance despite the significant age difference.
How Sanjay reciprocates the feelings of his disciples and what happens in their lives is shown in the film. Along with Suriya in the lead role, the film stars Mamita Baiju in the co-lead role, with actors Raveena Tandon and Radhika Sarathkumar playing the lead roles.
Although further details about the film have not been made public yet, it is expected to release on the big screens in July 2026.
Surya’s work front
Suriya He is next seen on the big screen in his long-awaited fantasy action film Karuppu. The film, directed by RJB, is the story of a supernatural, mythological deity who appears in the physical world to stop wrongdoers. The film, co-starring Trisha Krishnan, will release in theaters on May 14, 2026.
Apart from this, the actor is also working on his next project, tentatively titled Suriya47, which will be directed by Jeetu Madhavan.
