Ground Zero Box Office Morning Trends Day 3: Emraan Hashmi recently returned with the Action-Thriller Ground Zero, which was released on 25 April 2025. Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay DeoSS, the film 2001 is based on the incident of the Indian Parliament attack. On its dramatic release, the film has received mixed response from the audience as well as critics.
According to the morning trends in its show for day 3, the film is expected to increase a minimum growth at the end of this week, not a huge response, even though it is Sunday. This action-thriller opened with Rs 1.20 crore in 1 day, later increased to Rs 1.50 crore at day 2. This takes the 2-day cum of the film to India’s net worth Rs 2.70 crore. Currently the figures of day 3 depend on its demand throughout the day.
The film also stars Sai Tamhkar and Zoya Hussain, and is produced under the banner of Excel Entertainment. The film has been directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoscar as the first dramatic Hindi release of the director’s career. She is known for Helm Marathi films, who made her Bollywood debut in 2023 with a direct-to-digital release Chhhariwali.
Ground Zero identified Emraan Hashmi’s big screen return after about 2 years of Tiger 3, where he entered the portrayal of a major opponent. Since the film has received a very dull response in theaters so far, it is also facing challenges from many fronts.
Ground Zero was released with Apna Apna, a 1994 creed-classic comedy entertainer Endz, led by Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. Additionally, it is also facing competition from two large holdover release in the form of action-thriller Kesari chapter 2 and jat.
