The Prime Minister of Greenland on Wednesday pledged to “take a way or another” of President Donald Trump’s Arctic region, insisting that the Islanders did not see their future with the United States or even Denmark.
Mute EZ rejected Trump’s expansionist ambitions to enacted the island, especially populated but mineral-rich and strategically placed island in a biased address by the US Congress in Washington.
“We don’t want to be American, or Danes either. We are Greenlanders. Americans and their leaders must understand,” EDEE has written in a Facebook post.
“We are not for sale and simply cannot be taken. Our future is decided by us in Greenland,” he said, six days before the legislative elections of the island, where the long question of independence is at the top of the agenda.
Trump in his speech offered only lines passing on world affairs, focusing on his domestic goals such as rounding out the unspecified immigrants and reducing government spending.
But he reiterated his aspirations to take Greenland and claimed an early victory over the control of the Panama Canal.
Trump said he had a message to the “incredible people” of Greenland. He said, “We strongly support your right to determine our own future, and if you choose, we welcome you to the United States,” he said.
But he made it clear that if he fails, he would not give up, saying: “In one way or the other we are going to get it.
“We will keep you safe, we will make you rich, and together, we will take Greenland to heights as you had never thought before.”
‘Will not done’
Denmark, of which the self-gunning Greenland is part, re-snatched the aspirations of Trump to take the islands again, China and Russia became rapidly active in the Arctic, as the climate change opens the sea routes.
In Copenhagen, Danish Defense Minister Trolls Lund Paulsen told public broadcaster Dr. that Greenland’s American attachment will not “not”.
He said, “The direction that Greenland wants to take will be decided by Greenlanders.”
Danish External Affairs Minister Lars Loke Rasmusen called to reinforce the quiet ends.
“I think everyone, including us, should be cautious about having all kinds of opinions about the future of Greenland”, he told Danish Television TV 2.
American threat to Greenland was once unimaginable, with the United States Treaty Associate under NATO.
But Trump has made it clear that he has very little patience for European allies, which he again condemned not to spend more on his terrorists, instead of Trump he looks at the era of great powers that he wants.
He has similarly vowed to withdraw the Panama Canal, the important link between the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans that were handed over to Panama by the United States in late 1999.
‘Remove it’
Hong Kong firm CK Hachisan declared Trump as Triumph after deciding to sell his Panama ports to the US -led consortium.
Trump and State Secretary Marco Rubio complained that rival China had gained a lot of impact on the canal and could close it in a conflict with the United States.
He said, “To further increase our national security, my administration will recover the Panama Canal, and we have already started doing so,” he said, as he mentions the Port Deal.
“We did not give it to China. Gave it to Panama – and we are taking it back,” he said.
Trump did not ruin the military force to seize the first Panama Canal or Greenland.
Trump has contradictoryly demanded to cast himself as a peacekeeper. He vowed to end the war in Ukraine and harassed allies by suspending assistance to the country, which Russia attacked three years ago.
Trump and Vice President JD Vance called Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelanski on Friday, ungrateful to visit the White House.
Addressing the Congress, Trump read a message from Zelanceci, in which the Ukrainian leader sought to repair the loss and raised the voice of a desire for a sign that the United States would take most of Ukraine’s mineral funds.
Trump said, “It’s time to end this insensitive war. If you want to end the wars, you have to talk to both sides,” said Trump.
At the same time, the Trump administration has canceled more than 90 percent of US development aid, traditionally a major source of American non-synonyms.
Trump has described aid in the interest of America.
