An official render of the Google Pixel 10a has leaked and… wait a minute, we just have to check that we haven’t accidentally embedded the Pixel 9a image. Well, jokes aside, we knew not to expect a new design from the upcoming model.
For one thing, we’ve already seen CAD-based renders of the phone. Additionally, in August Google said we should expect a Pixel redesign every 2-3 years. Keeping in mind that 9A changed things from 8A, we probably won’t see any new designs until 11A at the earliest.
Anyway, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing – there aren’t too many phones with 6.3″ displays (the 10A display technically measures 6.285″), especially not at this price. The bezels are on the chunky side, which isn’t unexpected on a cheap phone.
Also, how many phones are there that have a flush or almost flush camera? Speaking of which, the camera will remain a dual-lens setup, as you can see in the images below (the camera island looks slightly larger). The leaked specs claim that it will have a 48MP main (f/1.7) and 13MP ultra-wide (f/2.2) module.

The 6.3″ OLED display will have a 120Hz refresh rate, though it won’t be an LTPO panel. There should be the same 5,100mAh battery inside with 23W charging. In other words, there will be no changes from the 9a.
This may also apply to the chipset – leaked source code indicates that the 10a will use the same Tensor G4 as the 9a. It should be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Tensor G5 offers a nice bump in performance over the G4, even if it still lags behind the leading Qualcomm and MediaTek chips.
The 9a was unveiled in mid-March, but the most recent rumors suggest an earlier launch for the Google Pixel 10a – it could be in stores as early as mid-February. It is said to have four colors: obsidian, berry, fog, and lavender. As a reminder, the old 9A had a different palette: Obsidian, Peony, Porcelain, and Iris.
