The AI-decision of Google Search has been flat. Google is upgrading a major upgrade to its search experience with a new AI mode, allowing users to ask complex questions and get detailed, personal results within all search interfaces. This feature uses real -time information of searching with AI abilities to create a more intelligent search engine experience. This can be helpful for tasks such as planning a particular holiday. With AI mode, a single search ticket information, weather updates and things can bring things together, all in one place.
This feature is somewhat for an extension or next step that you see in Google search right now. Currently, when you search on Google, you see an AI-borne summary at the top, which is based on all the links below. There will be AI mode but more detailed and personal.
This feature is available as part of experimental laboratories. However, for a select number of users only – Google has a waiting list. But Google says that AI mode will now be available to all America’s lab users. It will still be a small number. “We are removing the waiting list so that no one in the US can get immediate access to AI mode in laboratories,” said Soufi Esmaeilzadeh, director of product management for Google Search.
Google says that AI mode works best on mobiles, especially for multimodal queries that include both text and picture.
If you are in India and you want to try this feature, then you should sign up in Google experimental laboratories.
Google is also using AI mode outside laboratories. A small percentage of American users will start watching the AI mode tab directly into the main search interface.
Google says that in addition to providing answers to layered query (such as compared to best health insurance), AI mode also supports follow -up questions and can tailor its results as it refines users what they are looking at.
Additionally, Google says that it has also added new visual elements to the results in AI mode. Next week, the users will start looking at the rich visual cards for local businesses and products. These cards will provide important details such as rating, opening hour, pricing, current publicity and even real -time availability from nearby stores. Taping at a product or location will draw more details, allowing users to take deep excavations or take immediate action such as calling or obtaining direction.
These results are powered by Google’s shopping graph – a huge and frequent updated index of more than 45 billion product listing. According to the company, more than 2 billion of these listings are refreshed every hour, making users current, reliable data.
In addition, Google says that users in AI mode will now be able to see the previous discoveries again. On the desktop, a new left-side panel will soon appear, allowing users to find the place where they leave. This is particularly helpful for long -running tasks such as planning or making a big purchase. Each subject of the panel includes the front information already, and the users can continue to ask follow -up questions without starting from the scratch.
Google’s blog post reads, “Many of the questions asking are part of long -lasting tasks and projects, and often they want to return to the information they have received. So now, we are making it easy to jump back on the desktop,” written in Google’s blog post.
The company emphasizes that these changes are still developing and encourage users to try AI mode through LABS feature in the Google app. Esmaeilzadeh said, “We will continue to improve and develop AI mode quickly based on your input.”
The AI mode updates for Google search come as the company is facing an important lawsuit in the US in which the court ruled that the company is a monopolist in the search market. The case is currently in the stage of treatment and is likely to be forced to sell chrome and chromium platforms.
